MEETING DESCRIPTION:
Ultrasound evaluation is a key component in the practice of Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine. A thorough ultrasound examination by a skilled clinician provides scan findings that can be correlated with the clinical examination to enhance patient care. This course contains a mix of gynecological, reproductive medicine, and office practice ultrasound procedures. The course was designed to provide the most current information presented through lectures, case presentations, live scan demonstrations and the opportunity to participate in a hands on scan lab with models and physician supervision. The course gives a concise review of basic concepts in gynecology and reproductive medicine and includes information pertinent to diagnosis and treatment of conditions seen in everyday practice. The strength of this training course is the small class size, individualized instruction and flexibility to meet the specific needs of course participants.
