General, Emergency, & Critical Care Scanning Skills Workshop

The General, Emergency, and Critical Care Scanning Skills Workshop is taught by leading experts. This ultrasound training program is designed to reinforce and improve scanning skills for emergency medicine, critical care, abdominal, and OB-GYN ultrasound applications. Scanning live models and inanimate phantoms provides the perfect opportunity to improve scanning proficiency.

Objectives

  1. Increase knowledge and skills to perform ultrasound examinations (specific exams based on specialty track selected).
  2. Demonstrate appropriate scan techniques and protocols for performing ultrasound examinations.
  3. Improve scanning skills and increase diagnostic confidence.
  4. Perform examinations under supervised conditions to help fulfill credentialing and/or individual certification requirements
