MEETING DESCRIPTION:
Essentials of Radiology: A Mayo Clinic Review is designed for radiology residents, as well as practicing radiologists who desire a comprehensive review of diagnostic radiology and its subspecialty areas. Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology has 130 staff radiologists practicing in all radiologic subspecialties, performing over 900,000 exams each year. This volume of cases coupled with the most modern imaging techniques has allowed the Department of Radiology to compile a vast image library. The course will provide a complete review of radiologic techniques and differentials. Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology experts will conduct a series of didactic lectures combined with a thorough review of unknown cases. A unique feature of this course will be online access to the talks and syllabus. The presentations will be available on an online course web page allowing the participant to view the lectures from their laptop computer during the presentations. This will bring the images right to the participant allowing for better visualization of even the most discrete findings. Unknown cases will also be available on the course web page to allow the participant to view these prior to each section at their convenience. Access to the course web page will remain open following the course for further review and referencing.
