Event Description

In less than a week you're going to learn the complete echocardiographic protocol: 2-D, M-mode, color and spectral Doppler, tissue velocity, and diastolic dysfunction.  Each step and every measurement will be carefully laid out and completely explained.  The majority of our time will be spent in the scan lab, practicing the full protocol to perfection.  Classroom sessions will drive home every point in a supportive dialog fashion.  You'll feel comfortable asking any question, as many time as it takes to understand.  After regular hours, the scan lab will be open around the clock for you to practice independently with classmates.  And after the course is complete, you'll become a permanent part of our Community, with forever Q&A support.

Course content is targeted to meet and exceed guidelines from the American Society of Echocardiography.  Our extremely small class size gives us the chance to modify its delivery to you, based on your specialty and level of experience.  Allied health professionals from every specialty and level find this is a powerful framework for both echocardiogrpahy and cardioavascular medicine.  ER and Critical Care physicians build the skills to answer bedside questions with confidence.  Anesthesiologists leave with the tools to be able to better evaluate their cardiac patients pre- and intraoperatively.  Family Practice and Internal Medicine doctors gain the right tools to elucidate cardiac function long before intractable heart failure sets in.  Even new sonographer graduates and those out of the field for awhile rediscover the protocol and passion for echocardiography.
