MEETING DESCRIPTION:
This course will provide a review of radiologic techniques and differential diagnoses, and is primarily designed for radiology senior residents. Radiologists in practice also find the course beneficial as an overview of both new and standard radiographic modalities and their applications to specific disease processes.
Speakers include experts from all radiology subspecialties. The review course includes lectures, discussion periods, and directed reading materials. The comprehensive syllabus includes basic differentials and stresses an organized, film-based approach. Video recording of the lectures cannot be allowed. Lecture schedule and speakers are subject to change.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this course the participants should be able to:
• Discuss techniques and procedures in all subspecialty areas of Radiology
• Describe new techniques and procedures being practiced in the field of Diagnostic Radiology
• Discuss differential diagnoses of common disease processes as they are seen on radiographic images
