MEETING DESCRIPTION:
This new course will provide an excellent view into the world of digital imaging. The course will cover digital imaging beginning from its history to where we are today. Course topics include definition of terminology associated with digital imaging, factors which affect quality of the image and options as to how to view and transmit the final image. The course will discuss the components of a digital radiography system needing to be monitored by the quality assurance process at a facility. Also covered, will be key points of the ACR Practice Guideline for Digital Radiography. Join this well-known faculty member as she guides you down the pathway of digital radiography.
