Description:
New Game – New Rules! Join us to learn not only how to play the game but excel at it! Film screen mammography has been the standard, but digital is here!
Full field digital mammography (FFDM) continues to replace film screen mammography around the country. This technology is versa-tile and has the ability to gather more information than ever before. The technology has evolved so rapidly we are now on the third and fourth generation digital mammography units. If you really want to understand digital imaging technology and the difference between DDM and CRM this is the class for you. The transition from analog to digital mammography is exciting and requires the knowledge and understanding of more than just how to operate the unit. Post processing techniques, tomosynthesis, contrast subtraction, CAD and many more tools are available to help detect breast cancers. Join us to see the use of digital imaging in mammography and gain the understanding of digital imaging and digital mammography quality control.
