Event Description

Have you gone from cassettes and buckys to matrixes and detectors? The world of digital imaging can be confusing to both the new or seasoned technologist. This course will deal with a broad variety of topics related to digital imaging in today’s high volume imaging department. The day will begin with basic image acquisition, terminology and digital equipment. You will learn in this course how to overcome challenges in positioning and technical factors to obtain the optimum digital image. Finally covered will be the use of grids, radiation protection, quality control and system calibration. At the end of the course day you be ready to walk the walk and talk the talk in the world of digital imaging.
