MEETING DESCRIPTION:
This multidisciplinary conference focuses on the role of PET-CT in cancer management.
Physician faculty from the fields of radiology, medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, and internal medicine will present lectures and lead tumor board case discussions highlighting the vital role of PET-CT imaging in managing cancer patients. Specific sessions will cover advanced PET-CT interpretation skills, established and emerging applications of PET-CT in oncology, the referring physician perspective on who needs PET-CT for staging, restaging, and monitoring therapy, and the growing use of PET-CT in clinical trials.

The symposium will be held in the grand ballroom of the Mount Washington Resort, the historic location of the 1944 Bretton Woods International Monetary Conference that established the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. The resort is just completing a $50 million renovation that includes a new 25,000 square foot spa and fitness center (opening December 2008). Afternoon breaks will allow participants to enjoy nordic and alpine skiing at the Bretton Woods Ski Center.
