Currently more than 85% of biopsies prove to be normal and the miss rate for detecting breast cancer is above 35% with screening mammography. Using CAD, digital, ultrasound and other ancillary imaging technology can improve detection of breast cancer. What is the best way to demonstrate a breast lesion? Is digital breast imaging the way to go? Will sonography be utilized for more than answering the question of cyst or solid?
