Complementary Imaging Techniques of the Breast
Currently more than 85% of biopsies prove to be normal and the miss rate for detecting breast cancer is above 35% with screening mammography. Using CAD, digital, ultrasound and other ancillary imaging technology can improve detection of breast cancer. What is the best way to demonstrate a breast lesion? Is digital breast imaging the way to go? Will sonography be utilized for more than answering the question of cyst or solid? Join us in exploring imaging techniques that complement mammography and produce the results that patients and healthcare professionals are seeking in the fight against breast cancer.
