Combined Chest & Emergency X-Ray Interpretation
Our combined Chest X-Ray and Emergency X-Ray Interpretation Course provides a systematic review principles of x-ray interpretation. Interactive multimedia small live group sessions will be taken in between lectures. The goal of the course is to provide practitioners with the knowledge and confidence to recognise typical radiographic patterns. The curriculum includes:
Review of basic x-ray principles & technique Review of x-ray terminology X-Ray interpretation of trauma to the:
Skull / face
Spine
Pelvis
Upper Limb
Lower Limb
Interpretation of Chest X-ray features:
Tubes & Lines
Cardiomediastinal contours
Airways, Lung & Pleura
Bones & Soft tissues
Review areas
CXR approach to common clinical scenarios Our online 'Emergency X-ray Anatomy' & 'Chest X-Ray Anatomy' modules are available prior to commencement. This is included in the cost of the course (10% saving by attending both days!)
