----About the Meeting
This symposium will focus on the latest trends in Nuclear Medicine. State of the art imaging protocols along with recent advances in imaging technologies, radioisotopes and tracers will be the focus of this meeting. Faculty will discuss current and future directions in cardiology, neurology, oncology, genitourinary and gastrointestinal imaging of this ever-changing imaging modality.

----Target Audience
This course should benefit radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and nuclear medicine technologists. It should also benefit physicians who supervise and interpret nuclear medicine procedures. The course should also prove valuable for physicians who order these studies.

----Educational Objectives
Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to:

Discuss current and future directions of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging

Describe recent advances of nuclear medicine imaging in the evaluation of hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal disease

Explain recent advances in imaging and evaluating the genitourinary system

Evaluate a variety of oncologic processes and metastatic disease using state of the art nuclear medicine imaging protocols

Implement state of the art imaging protocols for evaluating cardiac and neurologic disease

Evaluate current and anticipated changes in reimbursement and government policies and regulations concerning nuclear medicine imaging
