MEETING DESCRIPTION:
Come join us for a new mammography class developed and presented by one of MD Anderson Cancer Center’s finest technologists. This mammography class will bring you a wealth of information on detection and treatment of breast cancer. The “seek and rescue mission” will focus on staging of breast cancer and the treatment plan taking full advantage of a wide range of modalities to determine metastasis. Imaging tools for scars, masses and calcifications will be presented in an interactive format allowing you to participate. Positioning skills, communication, respect and confidence are a must for the “Mammographero”. Being a mammographer takes passion and you will love this class as you stay involved in your career and follow your path in “making breast cancer your mission”!
