ABOUT THE MEETING
This symposium is structured to provide a comprehensive and practical review of clinical MRI. Topics include a mix of basic and advanced applications including body, vascular, neurological, and musculoskeletal techniques. Expert faculty share their advice regarding the latest applications, techniques and protocols used to improve diagnostic capabilities and expand the clinical applications of MRI.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This CME activity is primarily intended and designed to educate diagnostic imaging physicians who perform and interpret MRI examinations. It should also be useful in educating referring physicians who order MRI procedures, as well as radiologic technologists.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to:
Apply state-of-the-art MRI/MRA protocols and techniques to clinical practice
Apply imaging protocols and techniques to effectively assess the peripheral vascular system to clinical practice
Recognize the strengths and pitfalls of breast MRI
Effectively assess neurological disease using MRI/MRA imaging techniques
Expand clinical applications for body MRI More effectively utilize MRI to assess patients with musculoskeletal pathology
