ARRS Clinician Educator Development Program

Announcing 3rd Annual
CLINICIAN EDUCATOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

A two-day workshop for junior faculty physicians to gain proficiency in teaching skills and designing educational activities to include:

• Designing curriculum and quality images
• Interactive techniques and exercises you can use
• Using technology and cases to develop competencies
• Developing a teaching portfolio
• Using effective feedback
• Writing for publication

Take-aways: Attendees will develop curriculum, receive a teaching portfolio template and learn how to enhance images.
Attendees may be selected to teach a session at a future ARRS program and write a journal article.

in conjunction with the 2010 ARRS Annual Meeting
San Diego, CA

The program is limited to 25 attendees. Only ONE nominee per institution will be accepted.
All attendees will receive an educational grant.

Nomination Criteria
Chairpersons and medical directors at medical schools, affiliated hospitals and clinical research institutions are invited to nominate candidates for this program.

> M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution
> Completion of radiology residency, fellowship or equivalent
> Certification by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent
> Faculty appointment as a lecturer, instructor, assistant professor or equivalent with no more than 5 years of experience post-training
> Currently employed in an academic center or teaching hospital
> Interested in and has the potential for a career that includes teaching
> ΑRRS member

by November 30, 2009.
