MEETING DESCRIPTION:
Mammography Quality Control - Analog Although digital mammography is here there are still many facilities performing film screen mammography. Are you one of those mammographers who are responsible for the analog quality control and documentation? Need some help on the tests, QC procedures, and sensitometry? This course is a must for you to learn the multiple pitfalls that can happen in your daily work. Many mammographers perform the tests, but have difficulty with the interpretations and the problem-solving. This will give you a boost to help you feel more confident with the day-to-day operations of your department. The quality control pro-cedures for analog mammography can be quite difficult and the understanding of the QC numbers and how to troubleshoot is a must in order to stay in compliance. This course will do that for you and you will leave with the knowledge necessary to perform, document and analyze the results in a meaningful manner.
