MEETING DESCRIPTION:
This intensive three-day course (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) is designed as a state-of-the art update on all facets of sports medicine imaging for the radiologist, orthopaedic surgeon and the sports medicine physician. Didactic lectures on imaging of the spine, marrow and all articulations will be provided. In addition, current thinking on musculoskeletal pediatrics, musculoskeletal ultrasound, cartilage and post-operative imaging of the shoulder, knee, and wrist will be featured. There will also be interactive MR arthroscopic correlation sessions on the hip, shoulder, and wrist as well as physical examination demonstration of the common presentations of several sports injuries. The conference will also provide interesting case sessions.
