2018 Utah Body Imaging Conference: Go for the Gut

This comprehensive course in abdominal imaging is intended to provide in-depth exposure to abdominal anatomy and the disease processes of the abdomen and pelvis. Major course topics include state-of-the art CT/MR protocols; abdominal trauma; hepatobiliary, pancreatic, splenic and gastrointestinal tract imaging; and genitourinary tract imaging including the male and female pelvis. 

The conference is designed to present participants with hundreds of individual case examples. Lunch will be provided for those who wish to participate in optional Friday and Saturday lunchtime sessions consisting of unusual and challenging unknown cases (for an additional fee).

Objectives

At the conclusion of the conference, the participant will be able to:

• Understand relevant abdominal anatomy issues.
• Provide information on current imaging techniques and choosing the most appropriate studies for imaging the abdomen.
• Discuss differential diagnoses of the abdomen based on imaging characteristics of pathology
