ABOUT THE MEETING

This symposium is structured to provide a comprehensive review of clinical MRI. Topics include a mix of basic to advanced applications including body, vascular and neurological techniques. Expert faculties share their advice regarding the latest applications, techniques and protocols that can be used to improve diagnostic capabilities and expanded clinical applications of MRI.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This CME activity is primarily intended and designed to educate diagnostic imaging physicians who perform and interpret MRI examinations. It should also be useful in educating referring physicians who order MRI procedures, as well as radiologic technologists.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to:

Discuss current recommendations regarding MR contrast safety
Adapt state-of-the-art MRA protocols and techniques into their clinical practices
Discuss the clinical indications and applications of MR cardiac and thoracic imaging
Incorporate state-of-the-art breast MRI protocols and techniques into clinical practice
Expand clinical applications for body MRI
More effectively utilize MRI to assess patients with musculoskeletal pathology
Effectively assess neurological disease using MRI/MRA imaging techniques
