Additional description or bio about me:
Past webmaster of Dave's Place Places in Radiology, which was a reseach and resource links portal for radiologic technologist's,radiologist's, and radiology students, online since 1996. After nearly 18 years of being online with my website, Dave’s Places in Radiology, it with deepest regrets that I have closed the site due to low volume, and competition with search engines, social and new radiology sites. The domain name license for the site will expire next year March 2015, you can contact AT&T Yahoo webhosting, if you would like to buy the domain name.

I would like to thank the hundreds of friends from around the world that I’ve met over the years, your support has been tremendous, and to the hundred of thousands of radiographers, student radiology students, and radiologists that used the site for research and resources on the field of radiology. Please join me on my new blog the Radiology Portal.

I worked as a CT department manager, in a regional hospital, in eastern Ohio and I'm responsible to the radiologists, in charge of technologist scheduling, department budget, ordering supplies, training of new CT technologists, develop departmental competencies, troubleshooting scanner problems, scanner QC, and training on the 3D workstation.

Celebrating Passionately Pink Day 2009

Celebrating Passionately Pink Day at Our Hospital 2009

On October 21st 2009 our department celebrated Passionately Pink Day to raise funds for the Susan Komen foundation. The staff made donations to wear pink to work for the day, almost everyone participated.
Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure and launched the global breast cancer movement. Today, Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Komen Race for the Cure, we have invested nearly $1 billion to fulfill our promise, becoming the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world. If you would like to participate, then visit the website at Susan G. Komen.
