Concerning vascular studies, MDCT is widely more used.
A lot of radiologists are looking foward to get experienced with CMR and Cardiac MDCT, moved by financial interests. The cardiologist are moving to that direction too.
So, that's my point of view.

SMIViewer is in a very basic shape as yet, because we are focussing on getting a framework done first so users can write their own plugins easily. Hence it does not provide with a functional analysis tool for LV yet. We will keep this request in mind however, thanks for your interest! If you would like to try the existing viewer, let me know I will share a password.
