 seminar will cover vascular anatomy and hemodynamics in depth. Spectra
 l and color Doppler physics will be discussed, from the discovery of t
 he principle by Dr. Christian Andreas Doppler through the detailed phy
 sics of both modalities. The correlation between the Doppler modalitie
 s will be covered so that you can correctly interpret the information 
 in your scans. The optimization of the major Doppler controls of each 
 modality will be discussed and examples will be shown. The know-how to
  optimize these functions will improve your ability to produce more di
 agnostic images at the scanning sessions. Presentations will be given 
 on the use of Doppler in each of the following studies: carotids, peri
 pheral venous, peripheral arterial and abdominal. These clinical prese
 ntations will include the anatomy and hemodynamics of the vessels unde
 r discussion, normal and abnormal studies and scan tips. All the studi
 es will be demonstrated and you will practice on models during the sca
