 er/Color physics, factors affecting optimal Doppler examinations and c
 ommonly seen Doppler/Color artifacts, which may affect diagnostic accu
 racy.\n2. Describe IMT measurements and evaluation and correlation wit
 h cardiovascular disease.\n3. Explain routine scan protocols and analy
 ze normal spectral waveform signatures, color characteristics, and Dop
 pler measurements in a norma carotid and peripheral vascular examinati
 ons.\n4. Recognize abnormal spectral Doppler and Color Doppler finding
 s seen with carotid and peripheral arterial and venous disease.\n5. Di
 scuss the role of indirect testing in the evaluation of lower extremit
 y arterial disease.\n6. Apply diagnostic criteria and structure a form
 al report for evaluation of carotid, peripheral venous and arterial di
 sease.\n7. Review complex carotid and peripheral vascular case studies
  in interactive interpretation session format.\n8. Explain the role of
  ultrasound in the post-intervention examination.\n9. Describe ultraso
 und findings associated with aortic endograft leaks.\n10. Describe nor
 mal and abnormal spectral Doppler charcteristics and diagnostic criter
 ia associated with renal artery evaluation and dialysis access graft e
 valuation.\n11. Increase participant’s knowledge to better interpret
  vascular ultrasound examinations.\n12. Optional lunch session: Identi
 fy areas of weakness to better prepare for the RPVI examination.\n\nIN
