 s 5-day seminar will cover vascular anatomy and hemodynamics in depth.
  Spectral and color Doppler physics will be discussed, from the discov
 ery of the principle by Dr. Christian Andreas Doppler through the deta
 iled physics of both modalities. The correlation between the Doppler m
 odalities will be covered so that you can correctly interpret the info
 rmation in your scans. The optimization of the major Doppler controls 
 of each modality will be discussed and examples will be shown. The kno
 w-how to optimize these functions will improve your ability to produce
  more diagnostic images at the scanning sessions. Presentations will b
 e given on the use of Doppler in each of the following studies: caroti
 ds, peripheral venous, peripheral arterial and abdominal. These clinic
 al presentations will include the anatomy and hemodynamics of the vess
 els under discussion, normal and abnormal studies and scan tips. All t
 he studies will be demonstrated and you will practice on models during
