 day seminar will cover vascular anatomy and hemodynamics in depth. Spe
 ctral and color Doppler physics will be discussed, from the discovery 
 of the principle by Dr. Christian Andreas Doppler through the detailed
  physics of both modalities. The correlation between the Doppler modal
 ities will be covered so that you can correctly interpret the informat
 ion in your scans. The optimization of the major Doppler controls of e
 ach modality will be discussed and examples will be shown. The know-ho
 w to optimize these functions will improve your ability to produce mor
 e diagnostic images at the scanning sessions. Presentations will be gi
 ven on the use of Doppler in each of the following studies: carotids, 
 peripheral venous, peripheral arterial and abdominal. These clinical p
 resentations will include the anatomy and hemodynamics of the vessels 
 under discussion, normal and abnormal studies and scan tips. All the s
 tudies will be demonstrated and you will practice on models during the
