  Evaluation. Second Day: Renal Doppler Ultrasound.\n\nObjectives. At t
 he completion of the course, you should be able to:\n\n1. Discuss Dopp
 ler/Color physics, factors affecting optimal Doppler examinations and 
 commonly seen Doppler/Color artifacts, which may affect diagnostic acc
 uracy.\n2. Describe IMT measurements and evaluation and correlation wi
 th cardiovascular disease.\n3. Explain routine scan protocols and anal
 yze normal spectral waveform signatures, color characteristics, and Do
 ppler measurements in a norma carotid and peripheral vascular examinat
 ions.\n4. Recognize abnormal spectral Doppler and Color Doppler findin
 gs seen with carotid and peripheral arterial and venous disease.\n5. D
 iscuss the role of indirect testing in the evaluation of lower extremi
 ty arterial disease.\n6. Apply diagnostic criteria and structure a for
 mal report for evaluation of carotid, peripheral venous and arterial d
 isease.\n7. Review complex carotid and peripheral vascular case studie
 s in interactive interpretation session format.\n8. Explain the role o
 f ultrasound in the post-intervention examination.\n9. Describe ultras
 ound findings associated with aortic endograft leaks.\n10. Describe no
 rmal and abnormal spectral Doppler charcteristics and diagnostic crite
 ria associated with renal artery evaluation and dialysis access graft 
 evaluation.\n11. Increase participant’s knowledge to better interpre
