 , color characteristics, and Doppler measurements in a normal carotid,
  TCD, peripheral vascular, and renal duplex/color flow imaging examina
 tions.\n2. Recognize abnormal spectral Doppler and Color Doppler findi
 ngs seen with carotid, TCD, peripheral arterial and venous disease, an
 d renal artery stenosis.\n3. Discuss Intima-Media Thickness measuremen
 ts and evaluation and their clinical significance as a screening metho
 d for cardiovascular disease.\n4. Discuss the role of indirect testing
  for the evaluation of lower extremity arterial disease.\n5. Review co
 mplex carotid and peripheral vascular case studies in an interactive i
 nterpretation session format.\n6. Increase knowledge and confidence to
  perform and/or interpret vascular ultrasound examinations.\n7. Apply 
 the information discussed in a clinical setting (ideally under supervi
 sed conditions) until an accepted level of proficiency is achieved.\n\
