SUMMARY:Understanding the Echo Report for Primary Care
DESCRIPTION:Register early and save! Please register early and reserve
your place by providing payment to avoid an additional $25 fee requir
ed for registrations given within two (2) weeks of the course.\nThe in
terpretation of an echocardiogram has become more than just evaluating
wall motion abnormalities to calculate an ejection fraction. Current
equipment provides the clinician with a wealth of information unimagin
ed several years ago. Interpreters find it increasingly difficult to m
ake sense of the reams of information provided by the cardiac sonograp
her. This course will provide you with real world case studies to shar
pen your interpretive skills. You will see both normal, and a wide var
iety of pathology, along with the appropriate echocardiographic views
and data necessary to make the correct interpretation. You will also b
e presented with typical diagnostic challenges such as poor imaging wi
ndows and limited data to help you develop techniques to get the most
useful information possible from the exam. Physicians applying for cre
dentials, accreditation, or reaccreditation will find this a valuable
means to quickly and efficiently acquire documentation for additional
 case studies and CME.\nCourse Topics\n\n2-D measurements\nM-Mode analy
