  scanning of the female patient can place demands on a sonographers sk
 ills. This one day course will deal with examinations routinely perfor
 med in OB/GYN offices and imaging facilities. This exceptional faculty
  member will begin with basic ultrasound physics to allow attendees to
  refresh their knowledge. This course will explore ultrasound imaging 
 of the female breast to include basic anatomy and how it varies on the
  mammographic and sonographic examination. A look will be taken at bot
 h normal and abnormal breast images. The remainder of the course will 
 be dedicated to ultrasound assessment of the female pelvis. Sonographe
 rs will be able to hone their skills through the presentation of both 
 normal and abnormal anatomy in a broad variety of sonographic images.\
 n\nYou will learn about the sonographic appearance of causes of abnorm
 al uterine bleeding, incompetent cervix and ectopic pregnancies. Come
