SUMMARY:Ultrasound Imaging of the Female Patient
DESCRIPTION:Covering all the bases with ultrasound scanning of the fem
 ale patient can place demands on a sonographers skills. This one day c
 ourse will deal with examinations routinely performed in OB/GYN office
 s and imaging facilities. This exceptional faculty member will begin w
 ith basic ultrasound physics to allow attendees to refresh their knowl
 edge. This course will explore ultrasound imaging of the female breast
  to include basic anatomy and how it varies on the mammographic and so
 nographic examination. A look will be taken at both normal and abnorma
 l breast images. The remainder of the course will be dedicated to ultr
 asound assessment of the female pelvis. Sonographers will be able to h
 one their skills through the presentation of both normal and abnormal 
 anatomy in a broad variety of sonographic images.\n\nYou will learn ab
 out the sonographic appearance of causes of abnormal uterine bleeding,
  incompetent cervix and ectopic pregnancies. Come spend the day with o
