 and anesthesia techniques on cadaver specimens.\n\nThe optional sessio
 n will develop skills, enhance confidence, and minimize barriers to in

 tal of ultrasound physics and instrumentation.\n2. Explain the advanta
 ges of using ultrasound-guided nerve block techniques.\n3. Identify th
 e topographic and cross-sectional brachial plexus anatomy.\n4. Demonst
 rate imaging techniques for performing ultrasound-guided upper extremi
 ties anesthesia using interscalene, supraclavicular, infraclavicular a
 nd axillary approaches on live models.\n5. Demonstrate imaging techniq
 ues for performing ultrasound-guided lower extremities anesthesia usin
 g femoral, popliteal and saphenous approaches on live models.\n6. List
  the indications and applications for performing ultrasound-guided cen
 tral venous catheter placement and apply skills using inanimate phanto
