 ar\n\nMEETING DESCRIPTION:\nThis course is an intensive review and upd
 ate of clinical imaging of the abdomen and pelvis. It will provide a t
 horough understanding of state-of-the-art imaging methods as they pert
 ain to current clinical practice. Lecture topics will include establis
 hed techniques and technical advances in CT and MRI as they pertain to
  the gastrointestinal and genitourinary systems. Other lecture highlig
 hts include CT/MR cholangiography, imaging of Bariatric surgery, and C
 T/MR applications to obstetric/gynecologic imaging. The faculty will r
 eview core concepts as well as indicate future directions emerging in 
 academic practice. Practical techniques will be presented.\n\nThis cou
 rse is intended as a review of abdominal topics relevant to clinical a
 nd academic radiologists that are applicable to daily practice.\n\nAt 
 the completion of this course, participants should be able to:\n1. Lis
 t the key benefits and limitations of CT/MRI in multiple diagnostic ar
 eas in the abdomen and pelvis;\n2. Recognize the most common medical i
 ssues seen in abdominal imaging and take appropriate measures to avoid
  these problems;\n3. Prevent and avoid common pitfalls in abdomino-pel
 vic imaging and interpretation;\n4. Recognize the indications for the 
 use of Ultrasound as an alternative or complement to CT/MR;\n5. Choose
  appropriate MR sequences for abdominal imaging, and be able to minimi
