 cription:Tutorials in Diagnostic Radiology is a postgraduate course de
 signed to update the diagnostic radiologist on new trends, relevant te
 chniques, and applications in diagnostic imaging. The latest advances 
 will be emphasized and related to common problems encountered in clini
 cal practice. A significant portion of the course material will be in 
 a case-based, interactive format to allow a different approach to post
 graduate education in diagnostic radiology. An interactive audience re
 sponse system will be utilized during some course lectures to foster i
 nteraction between course faculty and attendees. Two self-assessment m
 odules (SAM) will be offered pending approval from the American Board 
 of Radiology.\nThe Advanced Radiology Life Support(ARLS)course is desi
 gned to focus on the unique, life-threatening emergencies that occur w
 ithin a radiology department.It is designed to teach prompt recognitio
 n and treatment of contrast reactions. The ARLS course will discuss ma
 nagement of the sedated patient and the proper management of an airway
  in an emergency situation. The administration of contrast in patients
  with renal insufficiency including contrast induced nephropathy and n
 ephrogenic systemic fibrosis will be discussed. Basic concepts of adva
 nced life support will also be reviewed. This course is fashioned afte
 r the Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course that has been succes
 sfully teaching physicians, nurses, and allied health personnel patien
 t management during cardiac arrest. This course will offer the current
  American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) recertification t
