 ed to update the diagnostic radiologist in new trends, relevant techni
 ques, and applications in diagnostic imaging. The latest advances will
  be emphasized and related to common problems encountered in clinical 
 practice. A significant portion of the course material will be in a ca
 se-based, interactive format to allow a different approach to postgrad
 uate education in diagnostic radiology. An interactive audience respon
 se system will be utilized during some course lectures to foster inter
 action between course faculty and attendees. A Self-Assessment Module 
 (SAM) will also be offered pending approval by the American Board of R
