 s access. Fifty percent of vascular surgery practice in the United Sta
 tes is based on dialysis access. It is estimated that dialysis access 
 accounts for $1 billion of the total U.S. health care budget. Despite 
 this, education in dialysis access has not kept up with the need of pr
 actitioners. As such, it is the goal of this conference to identify an
 d provide up-to-date dialysis access information including furthering 
 patient care by discussing evidence-based approaches to solving simple
