DESCRIPTION:The SAR 2017 Annual Scientific Meeting and Educational Cou
 rse will be held, March 26 - 31, 2017 at the Diplomat Resort & Spa in 
 Hollywood, Florida. This annual meeting was formerly called the Abdomi
 nal Radiology Course and is a presentation of the Society of Abdominal
  Radiology (formerly the Society of Gastrointestinal Radiologists and 
 the Society of Uroradiology). The course encompasses the full range of
  activities that constitute contemporary abdominal radiology including
 : all methods of diagnostic imaging and radiologic intervention, with 
 emphasis on state-of-the-art utilization, performance and interpretati
 on; new and innovative approaches to abdominal and pelvic pathology; m
 ajor issues, and common problems in gastrointestinal and genitourinary
  radiology; and assessment of major abdominal pathology with sessions 
 devoted to exploring the latest imaging techniques utilized in evaluat
 ion of the genitourinary and gastrointestinal systems. These topics wi
 ll be addressed in didactic lectures, panel discussions, self-assessme
 nt modules (SAMs), interactive workshops, and hands-on training worksh
 ops. The extensive variety of small group workshops and SAMs will enab
 le participants to tailor their learning experience according to their
  individual needs. The Scientific Paper Sessions of the Society will b
 e open to all members.  Numerous educational and scientific posters s
 panning all aspects of abdominal imaging will be available to all cour
 se participants for study throughout the meeting. Designed primarily f
 or radiologists in practice and in training, this course will also ben
 efit all physicians who care for patients with gastrointestinal and ge
 nitourinary disease.\n \nAMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and SAM credit
  will be offered.  Fees: vary ($525-$1300).  The meeting is provided
