DESCRIPTION:The use of film-screen imaging has gone from the overwhelm
 ing choice for hospitals and medical facilities in 1990’s in the Uni
 ted Sates to less than 4% utilization by these same facilities as of 2
 011.  Training for the transition from film-screen radiography to dig
 ital imaging was often “on the job” as opposed to formal training.
