 ION:\nThe Society for Pediatric Radiology Annual Meeting and Postgradu
 ate Course will provide pediatric and general radiologists with an opp
 ortunity to do the following:\n\n1. Summarize current information on s
 tate-of-the-art pediatric imaging and the practice of pediatric radiol
 ogy.\n2. Scrutinize new technologies for pediatric imaging and be able
  to understand and apply appropriately and successfully.\n3. Review co
 mmon problems facing pediatric radiologists, and possible solutions.\n
 4. Evaluate and apply means of minimizing radiation exposure during di
 agnostic imaging.\n5. Review the latest approaches to pediatric imagin
 g and correlate with clinical outcomes.\n6. Describe new advances in r
 esearch and imaging.\n7. Review the broad scope of pediatric radiology
  as it relates to everyday practice.\n\nAt the conclusion of the exper
 ience, participants should have an improved understanding of the techn
 ologies discussed, increasing awareness of the hazards of diagnostic r
 adiation to children and of ways to minimize them, and an improved gen
