DESCRIPTION:Radiology Essentials\nSeptember 1 - 4\n\nThis postgraduate
  course is designed to describe the evolution and advances in musculos
 keletal radiology, in brain and spine imaging, and in body imaging and
  interventional procedures in the body and chest. Emphasis will be pla
 ced on new imaging techniques and in interventional procedures.\n\nEdu
 cational Objectives:\n\nDevelop a full understanding of the implementa
 tion of CT and MR in Stroke and in Neurovascular Disease, with particu
 lar emphasis on perfusion studies and the use of the newest MR angiogr
 aphy techniques\n\nDescribe and illustrate the latest MR techniques in
  the brain for tumors and to describe the use of advanced sequences in
  the imaging of the post treated brain for neoplasm\n\nDefine the MR s
 tudies to detect the earliest changes in the spine in infectious disea
 ses and to describe the overlapping appearances of many abnormalities 
 which affect the spinal cord either as metabolic/ toxic derangements o
 r as vascular / demyelinating diseases\n\nDirect the interventional ra
 diologist to the proper and most effective method of treating tumors o
 f the liver and kidney\n\nDemonstrate the radiology features of the ma
 ny and newly devised operations for the post treated and instrumented 
 spine\n\nCorrelate the clinical findings in abnormalities of the knee,
  shoulder, hip and elbow with their MR appearance\n\nShow the usefulne
 ss of sonography in the evaluation of MSK abnormalities and how those 
 images can be used to direct proper interventions\n\nUse an Audience R
 esponse System so the registrants can perform self evaluation of their
  knowledge and diagnostic abilities.\n\nTARGET AUDIENCE:\n\nThis cours

 that date, the fee is $950. For Residents, Fellows, Retired, and Milit
 ary the fee is $795 or $850 if your registration is postmarked after A
 ugust 1, 2011. For Technologists and Allied Health Prof the fee is $69
 5 and $750 if your registration is postmarked after August 1, 2011. A 
 letter of verification from the Department Chairman must accompany the
  application of anyone wishing to qualify for the reduced rate. Enroll
 ment will be confirmed on the basis of registration fee. We do not pro
