 ption\nThese courses are designed for physicians and allied health per
 sonnel. They will cover the applications of imaging techniques in the 
 diagnosis of diseases of the brain, spine, musculoskeletal system and 
 body. Lectures will emphasize image interpretation, differential diagn
 osis, a review of disease processes and new imaging techniques. Some i
 nterventional techniques will also be addressed.\n\nCourse Objectives\
 nAt the conclusion of each course the participants should be able to:\
 n\n- Describe the applications of modern MRI imaging to solving clinic
 al questions in the work-up of patients with many central nervous syst
 em, musculoskeletal, spine and abdominal-pelvic diseases\n- Assess bot
 h the advantages and limitations of these techniques\n- Be aware of al
 ternative imaging choices\n- Develop differential diagnoses based on m
 agnetic resonance imaging and disease\n- Demonstrate how to apply mode
 rn imaging to the performance of spine interventional procedures in ra
 diology practice to alleviate spinal pain, treatment of osteoporotic a
 nd malignant fractures, biopsy, spinal lesions and treat vascular abno
