 e for hospital and clinic-based radiology departments accredited throu
 gh the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (
 JCAHO). Quality management is also an important part of mam-mography a
 nd compliance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA). Quali
 ty management requires a working knowledge of the quality improvement 
 (QI) process and tools, quality control (QC), equipment testing and re
 gulatory guide-lines. You will learn the basics of the quality managem
 ent process from the theoretical to practical application. A combinati
 on of experts will introduce you to the fundamentals of QM. You will l
 earn from the pros how QM has evolved and how QI has changed. You will
  receive “hands-on” application in designing QI monitors for your 
 facility. You will learn how a well-designed QM program will improve i
 maging quality and patient care.\nIn addition to the QC testing review
 , you will participate in a field trip to perform a portion of the QC 
 tests listed in the ARRT QM clinical competencies required for the adv
 anced level QM examination. All students will progress through the app
 lication phase of training at their own rate.\nAdvanced Health can pro
 vide the opportunity to meet some of the clinical competency requireme
 nts for the ARRT Ad-vanced Level Exam for Quality Management, but cann
 ot guarantee the competency can be met. The performance of each compet
 ency is dependent upon the participant’s individual skill level.\nCo
