 ur-day program provides a more in-depth coverage of ultrasound applica
 tions in obstetrics and gynecology. Approximately three-quarters of th
 e program is devoted to obstetrics and the remainder to gynecology.\n\
 nPracticing clinicians and sonographers will be able to refresh their 
 knowledge in gynecological areas such as the post-menopausal uterus, e
 ndometrial disorders, adnexal masses, transvaginal imaging and obstetr
 ics including problem solving with obstetrical measurements, exposure 
 to Doppler in Ob/Gyn, an overview of 3-D ultrasound applications, bioe
 ffects and invasive procedures.\n\nEducational Objectives:\nAfter atte
 nding this course, the participant should be able to:\n\nrecognize the
  acoustic representation of normal anatomy of the fetus and the female
  pelvis\ndescribe the capabilities and limitations of ultrasound in Ob
 stetrics and Gynecology\nidentify pathologies of the fetus, uterus, an
 d ovaries from ultrasound images\nperform basic ultrasound scanning of
