 is three-day educational course is designed to provide the practicing 
 radiologist an intensive hands-on experience in the technique and the 
 interpretation of MR imaging of the knee, shoulder, ankle/foot and hip
 . The course is focused toward the non-musculoskeletal trained radiolo
 gist responsible for inter-pretation of these often complex examinatio
 ns. The attendee will have the opportunity to review and interpret ove
 r 100 mus-culoskeletal MR examinations under the supervision of expert
  faculty. Through participation in multiple scan interpretation sessio
 ns, including a detailed review of the key findings, each attendee wil
 l develop a higher level of expertise and confidence in evaluating MR 
 of these various joints.\n\nAt the conclusion of this conference, part
 icipants will be able to:\n\n1. Identify the normal appearances of imp
 ortant anatomic structures on MR imaging of the knee, shoulder, ankle/
 foot and hip\n\n2. Identify abnormalities involving the menisci, cruci
 ate ligaments, collateral ligaments, extensor mechanism and osteochond
 ral structures on MR imaging of the knee\n\n3. Recognize important MR 
 imaging features of rotator cuff tears, glenoid labral injuries and th
 eir clinical implications\n\n4. Detect common abnormalities of frequen
 tly injured tendons, ligaments and osteochondral structures on MR imag
 ing of the ankle/foot\n\n5. Recognize important imaging features of av
 ascular necrosis, labral tears, femoroacetabular impingement syndrome 
 and traumatic injuries on MR of the hip\n\nAttendees who complete a mi
 nimum of 100 cases will be awarded a Certificate of Proficiency statin
 g they meet the Maintenance of Competence case requirement as specifie
 d in the ACR Practice Guidelines for the Performance of Magnetic Reson
 ance Imaging (MRI) for the knee, shoulder, ankle and hindfoot, and hip
