DESCRIPTION:Musculoskeletal MR\n\nCourse Overview\n\nThis three-day ed
 ucational course is designed to provide the practicing radiologist an 
 intensive hands-on experience in the technique and the interpretation 
 of MR imaging of the knee, shoulder, ankle/foot and hip. The course is
  focused toward the non-musculoskeletal trained radiologist responsibl
 e for inter-pretation of these often complex examinations. The attende
 e will have the opportunity to review and interpret over 100 mus-culos
 keletal MR examinations under the supervision of expert faculty. Throu
 gh participation in multiple scan interpretation sessions, including a
  detailed review of the key findings, each attendee will develop a hig
 her level of expertise and confidence in evaluating MR of these variou
 s joints. All cases will be reviewed on a FUJI PACS workstation. Prepa

 nAt the conclusion of this conference, participants will be able to:\n
 \n1. Identify the normal appearances of important anatomic structures 
 on MR imaging of the knee, shoulder, ankle/foot and hip\n\n2. Identify
  abnormalities involving the menisci, cruciate ligaments, collateral l
 igaments, extensor mechanism and osteochondral structures on MR imagin
 g of the knee\n\n3. Recognize important MR imaging features of rotator
  cuff tears, glenoid labral injuries and their clinical implications\n
 \n4. Detect common abnormalities of frequently injured tendons, ligame
 nts and osteochondral structures on MR imaging of the ankle/foot\n\n5.
  Recognize important imaging features of avascular necrosis, labral te
 ars, femoroacetabular impingement syndrome and traumatic injuries on M
 R of the hip\n\nAttendees who complete a minimum of 100 cases will be 
 awarded a Certificate of Proficiency stating they meet the Maintenance
  of Competence case requirement as specified in the ACR Practice Guide
 lines for the Performance of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) for the 
 knee, shoulder, ankle and hindfoot, and hip and pelvis for musculoskel
 etal disorders.\n\n* Members-in-Training fee is 50% off member rate. A
