e Purpose:\nThis course is designed for neuroradiologists, general rad
iologists, and clinicians who have an interest in imaging of the brain
, spine, and head and neck. The case material shown will include a wid
e spectrum of the diseases that affect these areas. The specific utili
zation of CT, MRI, MRS and perfusion-diffusion & permeability imaging
in the investigation of these diseases will be discussed. In each sect
ion, the imaging protocols, anatomy, pathology, and the clinically rel
evant differential diagnoses will be reviewed. This course will improv
e the participant's ability to analyze CT and MR images, to offer a pe
rtinent differential diagnosis, and to be familiar with the newest tec

mpletion of this course, the participants will be able to:\n\n1. Prese
nt the essential anatomy and imaging protocols necessary to arrive at
a diagnosis of the diseases of the central nervous system and head and
neck.\n\n2. Recognize both the common and uncommon CNS and ENT diseas
es.\n\n3. Develop a differential diagnosis for each area that relates
to the pertinent imaging and clinically relevant findings.\n\n4. Revie
w the application of the newest imaging techniques to these areas.\n\n
 5. Improve the imaging skills of all of the course participants.\n\nTa
rget Audience:\n• Board certified general radiologists interested in
neuroradiology and head and neck imaging.\n• Neuroradiologists\n•
Radiology residents and Fellows-in-training\n• Practicing physician
s in general neurology, neurosurgery, otolaryngology, and related clin
ical subspecialties who desire to familiarize themselves with the curr
ent role of imaging.\n• Allied health care professionals who desire
to have an update on recent imaging advances and the use of imaging as
an aid to clinical patient management for diseases of the brain, spin
e, and head and neck.\n\nACCREDITATION:\n\nThe International Institute
for Continuing Medical Education, Inc. is accredited by the Accredita
