 is CME program is designed to cover clinical aspects of breast imaging
  including conventional and digital mammography, breast ultrasound, br
 east MRI, and interventional procedures, as well as medicolegal issues
 . The faculty consists of nine nationally and internationally recogniz
 ed experts. The program of lectures and panel discussions will be fill
 ed with “take home” information that should benefit every breast i
 maging practice.\n\nCourse Objectives:\n\nAt the completion of the cou
 rse, the participant should be able to:\n\n1. Discuss the latest ACR B
 I-RADS terminology for breast abnormalities seen on mammography, ultra
 sound, and MRI.\n\n2. Develop a systematic approach to the assessment 
 of calcifications, masses and asymmetries seen on mammography.\n\n3. A
 ppreciate the latest technologic developments in digital mammography, 
 breast ultrasound and breast MRI.\n\n4. Understand the evolving role o
 f ultrasound and MRI in screening, problem solving, and staging.\n\n5.
  Reduce their risk of false negative interpretation and malpractice li
 tigation.\n\nTarget Audience:\n\nThis course is designed for radiologi
 sts who interpret breast imaging studies and perform breast interventi
 onal procedures. Physicians in other specialties involved with the dia
 gnosis and treatment of breast diseases, medical physicists, mammograp
 hy technologists, breast center administrators, and other health care 
 professionals will also benefit from this course.\n\nACCREDITATION:\n\
 nThe International Institute for Continuing Medical Education, Inc. is
  accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Educat
 ion (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.\n\
