 ON:\nCourse Purpose:\n\nThis course is designed for neuroradiologists,
  general radiologists, and clinicians who have an interest in imaging 
 of the brain, spine, and head and neck. The case material shown will i
 nclude wide spectrum of the diseases that affect these areas. The spec
 ific utilization of CT, MRI, MRS and perfusion-diffusion & permeabilit
 y imaging in the investigation of these diseases will be discussed. In
  each section, the imaging protocols, anatomy, pathology, and the clin
 ically relevant differential diagnoses will be reviewed. This course w
 ill improve the participant's ability to analyze CT and MR images, to 
 offer a pertinent differential diagnosis, and to be familiar with the 
 newest technologies applied to these regions.\n\nCourse Objectives:\n\
 n1. To present the essential anatomy and imaging protocols necessary t
 o arrive at a diagnosis of the diseases of the central nervous system 
 and head and neck.\n\n2. To familiarize the participant with both the 
 common and uncommon CNS and ENT diseases.\n\n3. To develop a different
 ial diagnosis for each area that relates to the pertinent imaging and 
 clinically relevant findings.\n\n4. To review the application of the n
 ewest imaging techniques to these areas.\n\n5. To improve the imaging 
 skills of all of the course participants.\n\nTarget Audience:\n\n* Boa
 rd certified general radiologists interested in neuroradiology and hea
 d and neck imaging.\n* Neuroradiologists\n* Radiology residents and Fe
 llows-in-training\n* Practicing physicians in general neurology, neuro
 surgery, otolaryngology, and related clinical subspecialties who desir
 e to familiarize themselves with the current role of imaging.\n* Allie
 d health care professionals who desire to have an update on recent ima
 ging advances and the use of imaging as an aid to clinical patient man
 agement for diseases of the brain, spine, and head and neck.\n\nACCRED
