 ivity will bring students and teacher together for an intensive learni
 ng experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound with the intent of introdu
 cing the student to the wealth of information ultrasound is capable of
  revealing about the morphology and dynamic physiology of the shoulder
 . Time in lecture will be balanced by dynamic scanning sessions, which
  serve to re-enforce the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the bony
  shoulder, the rotator cuff, ligaments, tendons and muscles of the sho
 ulder. Normal examples and common diseases of the shoulder will be pre
 sented along with techniques the examiner will find useful in defining
  normal from abnormal shoulder anatomy. Pathology such as tendon tear,
  hematoma, synovial diseases and abnormalities of the cartilage will b
 e discussed. Examples of these common abnormalities will be presented.
  A structured approach for examining the shoulder with ultrasound will
  be addressed. Students interested in learning to use ultrasound to ev
 aluate the shoulder will take home a wealth of knowledge useful for ev
