 8\n\nMEETING DESCRIPTION:\nCLINICAL FELLOWSHIP INFORMATION Advanced He
 alth Education Center offers clinical fellowship rotations as an enhan
 cement to the preceding theory course in the selected modality. AHEC o
 ffers clinical fellowships to registered radiographers (RT, R) In the 
 modalities of Mammography, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Ima
 ging and Cardiovascular Radiography. Fellowships are conducted In the 
 Houston, TX area in hospitals, imaging facilities and urgent care faci
 lities. The length of clinical fellowship training will vary by the mo
 dality selected. **No CE credit is awarded for clinical hours. In orde
 r to receive a certificate documenting clinical attendance, technologi
 sts must return their timesheet and copies of their clinical competenc
 y forms to the AHEC office via mail or fax to the attention of the res
 pective fellowship coordinator. Modality Information MRI, CT, CV Clini
 cal Fellowship: 40 hours of clinical rotations (Monday-Friday) each we
 ek will give the technologist the opportunity to experience a wide arr
 ay of exams, be tutored by experienced advanced modality professionals
  who provide insights, advice, and help you get the most out of your t
 raining. Also, clinical fellowships will allow technologists the oppor
 tunity to accrue some of their clinical experience (competencies) for 
 preparation for advanced modality examinations. Clinical rotations are
  based on a per week registration by the technologist. It is strongly 
 recommended attendance in clinical rotations be for the full weeks off
 ered. Register early; there is a limited number of clinical sites avai
 lable. It will enhance clinical experience if technologists communicat
 e their goals related to clinical training to the fellowship coordinat
 or. If you have specific requests regarding equipment preference and/o
 r software, please contact the AHEC clinical fellowship coordinator re
 lated to these modalities. MRI, CT, and CV Fellowship Coordinator: Reb
 ecca Adams, RT,(R)(CV)(BD)(CBDT)-Program Manager Magnetic Resonance Im
 aging Fellowship Clinical: (1-3 week option) Technologists are placed 
 with an emphasis on providing experience on a magnet when available, w
 ith the field strength and manufacturer requested when possible. MRI f
 ellowship clinical will provide 40-120 hours of MRI training. Clinical
  Fellowship Requirements Clinical Fellowship requires enrolled technol
 ogists to meet hospital and imaging center requirements as required by
  affiliation agreements and education departments. The following infor
 mation must be submitted to obtain a clinical site rotation assignment
 . Fellowship coordinators will contact enrolled technologists in advan
 ce of clinical rotations to secure appropriate documentation. Reliable
  email and/or telephone contact Information must be provided at time o
 f registration for the class. Failure to provide correct information w
 ill result in delay or failure of clinical placement. Required informa
 tion must be provided a minimum of three weeks prior to the first day
