DESCRIPTION:Mammography has proven to reduce the mortality of breast c
 ancer and has been used for decades to screen women.  However, it doe
 sn’t do any good to screen 100 women a day if you “leave the cance
 r in the room”!  The Radiologist can only interpret what you image 
 on a mammogram.  Is all the breast tissue imaged?  Is there optimal 
 compression?   It all depends on how well we do our job! This is the
  class you have been waiting for; a full day dedicated to topics impor
 tant to your daily practice in mammography.  This workshop is designe
 d for “front line mammographers” and focuses on positioning and im
 age critique skills, which translate to improvements in image quality.
   You will learn the standards for proper positioning and learn valua
 ble positioning tips and tricks from technologists with years of exper
 ience performing and teaching the art of mammography.  Sharpen you im
 age critique skills with numerous positioning images demonstrating pos
